Message from Ms. Arevalo, Assistant Principal
I am so excited to start my second year at Pleasant View Elementary School.
This will be by 18th year working for Baldwin Park Unified School District. I was a teacher at the elementary and junior high level, a curriculum specialist with the district office, a resource teacher, and now entering my third year as Assistant Principal.
I attended Whittier College, where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development. Later, I earned my Master’s Degree in Leadership and Administrative Credential from California State University, Los Angeles. Currently I am working with Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) to complete my Tier 2 Administrative training.
As Assistant Principal, I am dedicated to working collaboratively with our families, staff members and students to support student achievement. I will be supporting many avenues to help our school and student succeed. I work closely with ELAC, our English learners programs, textbooks, and Visual and Performing Arts programming.
I will continue to support Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS). We will work cooperatively to be R.E.A.L. Roadrunners, and ensure that our students Respect themselves and other, demonstrate proper Etiquette, practice Accountability, and initiate Leadership.
