Welcome to Speech and Language at Pleasant View Elementary! I am very excited to see students back on campus this year!


This is my fifth year in Baldwin Park Unified School District and my sixth year working as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. I also serve as an Assistive Technology Specialist in the district. I enjoy working with students of all ages to help them improve their communication skills to support their success in and outside of the classroom. 


Therapy services are provided as outlined in a student's IEP. If you have any questions, please contact me by phone, email, or through Class Dojo (direct message). If your child is not enrolled in Speech, but you have questions or concerns, please reach out to me directly, or notify the school office or your child's teacher. 


Students have access to Google Classroom, where I will post additional resources to support goals outside of the Speech room. I recommend that students practice their goals for up to 15 minutes at least a few times a week. Research shows that frequent, short periods of practice make a big difference towards meeting speech and language goals.
